Valtra combines a long and impressive history with today’s state-of-the-art technological expertise. We are an international company, which can be seen in just about every aspect of our work. Valtra is part of the global AGCO Corporation, which means that we can offer versatile development opportunities and attractive career paths within our organisation.
Our factory is located in Suolahti, in the heart of the happiest country in the world, Finland. As well as being one of the world's northernmost tractor factories, it is AGCO's most sustainable, using 100% renewable energy. The factory is nestled within the Finnish forest, yet Jyväskylä international airport is less than 25 km away. No wonder Valtra is the largest employer in the region.
The Valtra factory is just 35 minutes from Jyväskylä, or 10 songs from your playlist, one episode of your favourite podcast, or half an ice hockey match on the radio. But we also often work remotely!
"Remote working makes life much more flexible. For example, if you have a meeting with colleagues or partners in the US or Asia, you don't have to go to the office, you can do it from home in the morning or evening." - Tanja Patrikainen
"The commute from Jyväskylä is not bad. I find it somewhat therapeutic to sit for half an hour or so at my own leisure before and after the working day." - Petri Sagulin
