Valtra Inc. develops, manufactures, markets and services Valtra tractors.
Valtra tractors, based on their Nordic roots, are recognised for ease of use, reliability and versatility. Each tractor is specifically designed to meet individual customer needs and manufactured to withstand the harshest climates and deliver the highest level of performance in the toughest working conditions.
WHERE WE OPERATE
Valtra is the leading manufacturer and service provider in the Nordic countries and one of the most popular brands in Latin America. We are manufacturing tractors at our state-of-the-art plants in Finland and Brazil.
Over 1700 Valtra employees are working in a wide range of production, engineering and service positions around the world.

SUOLAHTI, FINLAND
The Valtra factory in Finland is located in Suolahti, in the central region.
The factory complex comprises assembly and transmission plants, engineering centre, Valtra Unlimited Studio, spare parts and servicing centre and the Atrium customer service centre. Valtra´s administrative offices are also located at the Suolahti factory.

MOGI DAS CRUZES, BRAZIL
The Valtra factory in Brazil is located in Mogi das Cruzes in the state of São Paulo. The factory complex comprises the assembly and transmission plants and a component centre which also assemble the AGCO Power engines used in Valtra tractors.

HISTORY
SINCE 1951
Valtra has manufactured tractors since 1951, but the company’s roots date back to the 19th century. Today’s Valtra tractors represent the culmination of two traditions: Finland’s Valmet and Sweden’s Volvo BM, itself an offshoot from the Eskilstuna Mekaniska Werkstad founded by Theofron Munktell in 1832.
Since its early days, Valmet has undergone huge change and development; not just in its name changes from Valmet and ValtraValmet to Valtra, but also in innovation of products and services.
